Chondrometrics GmbH (CHM) provides expert consultation, image data post-processing and image analysis service to researchers and pharmaceutical industry. The focus of the activities of CHM is on quantitative analysis of articular cartilage morphology and structure from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data.

The service of CHM is provided to support:

» Clinical studies, investigating the efficacy of structure / disease modifying osteoarthritis drugs (SMOADs / DMOADs).

» Clinical studies, investigating the efficacy of other therapeutic approaches in osteoarthritis (OA).

» Consulting regarding the image modality and acquisition protocol for basic research or clinical studies.

» Provision of dedicated software products for quantitative analysis of tissue morphology from medical image data.

» Development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quantitative analysis of tissue morphology, including rigorous quality control (QC).

» Training of expert personal for performing interactive segmentation of medical image data.
